Those are great players especially the signal mountain boys. But i do think Jared Allen, polk countys qb, is on the same level as any player in the state of tennessee. Yes, his passing numbers are not going to look good because of polks offense and the lack of talent for polk but this kid could be a star in a spread type offense that has some play makers to throw to. AquaWater
Who needs to throw when you avg 15ypc and a TD every 3 times you carry the ball? Who needs to throw?? How about polk county. When you play a good team they will take your strength away. Polk can run all up and down any team in their division but when you get into the playoffs what happens?? A team will beat polk because they're one dimensional. I'm an ex wildcat and a huge polk fan and I would love if polk could win every game by just running it but that don't happen. "So who needs to throw". What a dumb question!! And another thing, you can ask anybody, even coach davis, and they would tell you that jared could be a big time recruit if he played in a spread type offense with some playmakers to throw to. I just quenched your thirst

I just quenched your thirst POLK does have the athletes to throw to, make no mistake about it. The fact is we just do not throw it. I think another top player in the Chattanooga area is Polks defensive player Michael Hargrove. He has been leading Polk's D for 2 years now. Hargrove and Allen are a lot of fun to watch Good Luck Polk.

The Whitmire kid is the real deal! Signal also has a beast at running back and linebacker...sorry I don't know his name. Another kid that deserves to get some recognition is South Pitt. lineman Cody Wordlow.

I just quenched your thirst Okay "huge Polk fan", when should they have been throwin' the ole pigskin around last friday(49-14 over WV)? During drives when they were rippin' WV for 8 yards a carry or during one of their 1-play drives when the FB took it the distance from 65 and 94 yards? Or better yet, should Allen of been in the game lobbing bombs when up Polk was already up 49-0 with ten minutes left in the 3rd quarter? Hopefully my question is on your level of intellect and not just child-like drivel to your superior non-subjective point of view.

Dude all i'm saying is that jared allen could have huge stats throwing the ball if he was in a different type of offense but thats not polk. Polk is a tough physical running team that struggles against teams that are just like them, for instance loudon. And another thing, I did not say anything about them throwing the ball last week thats something you just made up.
