Well week 7 has arrived as October Madness begins. Some story lines have been determined, some have not. But there is alot of soccer to be played as teams make their last preparations for post season play.

The Great Cabal has convened and it was a long meeting with way to many adult beverages. This is how they have it....

1) Baylor..The tie to GPS will not slow this Raider team down, but rather fire them up.

2) GPS.."Mission Accomplished" against Baylor, But we all remember the last time that phrase was used

3) Soddy-Daisy..Yea, Won their district this week, looking forward to home field advantage

4) The Green Irish..Yea, Won their district and with your district you might need it. LOL

5) Signal Mtn..Geez, for such a new school, y'all make a lot of noise

6) CCS..Look on the bright side next time you'll see SM is at your place, with those drums banging.

7) McMinn Co...Playin Cleveland this week..Are you ready?

8) East Hamilton..

9) Cleveland..Playin McMinn Co. ...R U Ready?

10) CSAS ..Can someone please up date your Coacht schedule?

Big Games This week....

ND vs Riverdale

Soddy vs GPS

Notre Dame 1 - Baylor 1

Wasn't there, so I can't give any details, but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised with the score.

The back line of Michelle Spangler, Sophie Mullin, Liz Kidwell and Ashley Henry all had a fantastic game for the Irish as well as the rest of the team. Gabby Gurrola's left footed rocket (from the 24) at the 33 minute mark in the second half put the Irish up 1-0 with Baylor tying it up at the 9 minute mark. Great game for the Irish. Certainly their best game of the season.

Excellent write up on Chattanoogan.com....ND can claim one of the only two goals Baylor has had scored on them all season (13 games)....Way to go Gaby ! Never can predict rivalry games....

    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
