Speaking of the TWO players that had to be investigated for eligibility issues...Did these two boys get challenged last year when they left Red Bank High School to go play for Soddy Daisy High School?

Two days out and only 14 posts on this game??

The Cleveland/Rhea game had 9 pages by now!

I guess this one's just not the "rivalry" that CHS/Rhea was. :rolleyes:

 

Still think this will be the better game than Bradley/WV. I'd actually prefer to see Rhea/Soddy, but work schedule won't allow me to travel there on time.

 

I say Cleveland takes this one, but it will be closer than it should.

Guess you had to poke at us one more time eh? It IS a rivalry to us. We made it a lot closer than you guys thought it was going to be. However, what's done is done. No use in crying over the past. Good luck tomorrow night! Also, we'd love having you in Evensville to pull for your favorite birds :roflol:

How did you enjoy the game Fishdad? I guess all those seniors leaving took more of a toll than you thought it would> Anyway you were warned you at the end of last season this would happen to The OWLS when the new school was up and running, but you didn't believe it.. I guess now you do. I guess being boastful and arrogant the last few years you probably won't be on Coach T to much putting down other programs... I am sure all the Ooltewah fans are glad that you won't be. Stay humble Fish man.....

Don't act like you've been 'flyn' high lately (no pun meant)

 

a program still wondern how a legend got away

 

AS FAR AS FOOTBALL GOES...

 

clev havn a good year...voytik is a competitor and i like him

i hope blu raiders win 5a...all im sayn

 

dont be knockn my owls for 1 down year...watch #55 on saturdays at ut and you'll know what current owls defense is missing...Coach Williams and staff recognize this as a stepping stone...Got a good QB coach in local QB...Drew Akins...Program will be OK

 

My hats off to Goose, Freeman , Lameech, and other seniors...those guys won their whole careers at Ooltewah...dont ever forget that

 

after watchn an ugly game at Bear Stadium last week...i did notice 1 owl that never quit...J Rudwall

 

he is the most linebackering kid i hav ever seen in high school

You know I'm just poking at Rhea County. I agree it was a far better game than anticipated. Eagles came to Cleveland to play, and they showed they have a lot of weapons. Like I said, I'd rather come over and watch your game tonight...just getting off work too late to do so. Had considered going to the Polk/S. Pittsburgh game tonight, but probably won't for the same reasons. Not left with a lot of choice, if I go at all. May be a good night for a bowl of chili, the recliner, and the radio...

 

Will be pulling for Rhea, Cleveland, and Polk tonight. :thumb:

      I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.

      I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.

      I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
