papatiger,

you need to give up trying to convince a few people they are wrong. they have been brainwashed to believe that just because you win at pee wee league you should win at high school. they will not change their thought because they live in non-reality so dont waste your breath. wonder how many nfl teams are putting in a new offensive package to use against certain teams, complete utter idiots.

So true. I mean some of these people think that the jr. pro success means they are going to be the next Barry Sanders and it just don't happen like that. It's almost like comparing scores to different teams (team A beat team B by 20, team A beat team C by 30, so team B will beat team C by 10) Doesn't work that way.

Great game by the Tigers last night, turnovers helped the Tigers make it a larger score but there were some hard hits causing those turnovers too. Either way, it was great to see not only Waverly, but Cheatham County players helping each other up after big hits. It is a tribute to the coaches of both teams. That was fun last night and really nice to see. No dirty play like we saw....... Well can't say that. Anyway good luck to both teams the rest of the way.

Congrats to Waverly on the "W". Hale's 3 touchdown tosses to Burns, Warden, and McLeod + the touchdown run he had late make him the "Player of the Week" in the entire district IMHO. He is a fine football player.

I thought camden's derick easley's four TD's on about 8 carries and 200 yards rushing should have gotten player of the week. But that's my biased opinion.

Thanks for the nice comments about our players. If more of our fans would stick to the positive instead of focusing on the negative, the entire program would be better for it. I do hope we make the playoffs and I hope Camden does well too.

Big one this week for you guys. Need a win to have a shot to get into the playoffs!

    • Great to meet you too.  We're going to work hard to get back.
    • I extend my gratitude to ManCoverage for initiating this discussion thread tailored to the residents of Trousdale County. In times of adversity within our football team, it is imperative to have an outlet for expression, and what better platform than CoachT's Craigslist forum? I respectfully request that GOAT exercise discretion in his commentary, as his remarks have caused me personal distress.
    • I am inclined to wager a substantial portion of my financial assets on the likelihood that Waggoner shall transition to an alternative coaching vocation prior to the year 2028. It is my contention that discerning individuals are beginning to perceive his coaching prowess as lacking in the requisite excellence. Allow me to articulate the following assertion: Waggoner represents a markedly superior choice compared to the individual who perpetrated the act of fuel theft.   This individual exhibits a conspicuous propensity for frequent professional transitions, a trait which undermines his credibility and renders him an untenable choice for serious consideration. It is indeed confounding that his candidacy continues to garner attention and support.
    • Yeah same   It’s definitely true that tough times make tough kids, but some kids just have a big passion for the game and will become the best of the best no matter where they come from.
