knoxball33
It appears both teams are comfortably in the playoff picture, so how do you play this one? Catholic is already dinged up and playing a backup QB. Young has to be tired from the wear and tear of a long year. I am thinking low scoring.... KCHS 17 BHS 13 Surprised it took until Wednesday for someone to start this. Is this not a big rivarly?
PowerSweep
I've only seen Catholic play once this season and that was when they got beat by Webb at Catholic. They had a lot of trouble stopping the run, especially the Blance brothers who are small and very quick. Based on what I saw, Devrin Young should have a big game against Catholic as the Blance brothers are similar in size, speed and quickness. Of course Bearden's O-line will have to perform equally as good as Webb's did against that huge Catholic D-line with D1 talent. I'll be pulling for the Bulldogs... UnsilentMajority
Having seen both teams play this year, I am leaning towards Bearden if Young gets going early. Either way, I'd say it'll be a close one.
lowkee
I think that it will be a close one also, but I think chs will pull it off.

tpoole12
Not got a "dawg" in this but I was very surprised at this final. Though both teams are headed to the playoffs I feel this is a critical time for the Irish program. Good luck to both teams. tpoole12
PowerSweep
As I predicted, Devrin Young had a big night. Glad to see Bearden win last night. So I read the game story in the paper today and found out that Catholic's D1 QB didn't start the game. He didn't play last week and didn't start last night. What's the deal with that?
