Do not ever under estimate a team last year we did with Rockwood and knowing your season ends with a team you are truly better then leaves a sick feeling in your stomach and i still have yet to get it out! do not over look the Unaka QB he is a great Athlete in all sports he is fast and he can drop a 60 yard pass easy! so be ready for a high scoring game! and maybe you can get Adkins to hit a whole this week and ward to run some! if it was at unaka they would win but it aint but there chances are the same as Byod! Never thought i would say this but Go Rangers! (wow! that about killed me)

 

I was at that game and Hampton was never better than Rockwood last year. You shouldn't have been sick, you should just deal with the truth. Just the same Boyd was better than Rockwood last year.

My comments were about the Ward and Atkins that play at Hampton! I was being a bit sarcastic concerning our game next week!

Yea? I was as that game also! Hampton played NO 'D'! They felt RW would not be a problem...It was sickening! I hope all teams that head this way are hoping for the same Bulldog showing as last year's!

Ok there was times i shoved a D-linemen 12 yards down the field easy and when i did play D i caused 2 fumbles and for one half of D got 10 tackles and i wasn't near the best on the team we switched everything up all of was dead headed to come be none of us was fired up we were ready for Byod a i guess God had other plans for us!

I'll be the 1st one to give the credit to Rockwood last year,I'll admitt I underestimated them. I never thought they would beat Oneida.Don't have a clue what happened to um the next week,Iknow Boyd was good,but should have never beat Rockwood like they did.My guees is ,they had trouble running the ball and tried throwing and got in bad trouble. Throwing was not their cup of tea.

This is not last year. Hampton is not the same team as last year. Almost all new starters at the begining of this year. By the look of Boyds record this year, they aren't the same team either. I still think Boyd is a quality team. I know they play tough defense. Should be a good game between Unaka and Boyd. Unaka isn't just good on offense, they can play some defense too. It could be a good game if Unaka doesn't have the "deer in headlights look". Best of luck to both teams. I'll be at "The Swamp" for my first game there.

Everything that could go bad, did go bad for RW in the 1st qter. Gave up a big pass play for a TD, then fumbled the kick-off. Then I believe another turnover and a 3 and out. Before they could blink, it was 21 or 28 nothing.

 

RW was not the type of team that could come back from that type of deficit.

 

Plus, BB was just better IMO. Had some athletes on both sides of the ball that RW just couldn't match up with.

 

RW probably went as far as they could with what they had. We will see what the future holds for this group.
