Ah, Champs....CPA got the unlucky draw.....Actually, the more I stare at it, it's pretty tough for everyone involved. Got to beat the good teams along the way. We'll be OK.

Agreed, RR. I think this is as good a draw as can be expected. I am looking forward to seeing the CPA rematch.

Good point- I definitely see a much better team in ND than played in the first game of the Baylor Tourney (And lost to CPA 2-1)very early in the season....

Oooohhhh!!! We haven't had this argument this season. Let's all have a pity party for the poor misfortunate public schools.

I remember the years when a public school would get to state. Occasionally. And when they did, they would get the unfortunate draw of someone like FRA. And would lose by six or seven goals.

 

Winner of ND and CPA has a lovely semifinal match ahead of them.

Greeneville has the best chance of any public school in the past 8 years.

agree, great program even when they played AAA. But again, too many privates. They should go AAA or to Div II where they really belong.

Just for soccer, or for all sports? Volleyball had 3 of 4 public schools in the final four in A and AA with state champions in both from the public schools. There does not seem to be a disparity there. What is the basis of your prejudice? Is it because most privates are faith-based?

Is it correct that of the 8 schools who are in the tournament, only 3 are private? If so, that has to be a record.
