Is that another name for Houston?

Germantown HS (Red Devils) was founded in the 1800s.

Houston is a relatively new Germantown H.S., added in 1989.

So prior to 89 there was only one Germantown H.S.

Im not sure if the present Red Devils have ever made it to the State Tournament since Houston was split off. Can't find any history on their soccer program since 89.

I know there are ears out there to confirm this. I will likely stand corrected but I understood that Cindy Parlow played for Germantown High in the early 90's. As talented and as decorated a player for her day, I am shocked that a TSSAA AAA Championship escaped her resume.

Germantown

'94 State Champions (probably with C. Parlow, she graduated after jr yr)

'98 State Champions, "National Champions", 25-0 record

'04 Lost to Farragut in 1st round of State

I think that information is accurate.

Germantown doesn't seem to be able out to get out of district play because they haven't been able to beat Houston or Collierville in the post season in the past few years.

99 was the year germantown went 25-0

i know that because we had girls that on to play D1 soccer in college and in that game we barely could get the ball out of our half
