daytime6
ive seen every region but 8 haha wats going on? Arlington Bartlett Bolton Brighton Cordova Millington Raleigh Egypt Collierville Germantown Houston Ridgeway Southwind White Station Don't expect much this year, maybe three or four medalists. West Tennessee really needs to step there youth programs up so that way they can be more competitive when they get to high school. Not really even sure if all of there feeder middle schools offer wrestling programs. I would like to see more state finalists come from region 8. Step it up guys. pimpinshane92
Hmm this kinda sounds like a challenge to me haha. Come on region 8 lets go go to state and bring back some medals. Now who does everyone think has the potential to do it?
TNWrestling
Holden Schay from Houston has a shot at medaling, probably at 160. That is if those football coaches weren't trying to fatten him up all season.

2blLeg
i'll be honest its pretty bad. There just is not any good youth programs in that area of the state are you kidding me? There are several very good youth programs in the Memphis area. One of which has produced more All-Americans than any other program in the state. So don't tell me that there aren't any good youth programs. The issue with Region 8 is simply that wrestling is still young out here, give it time and I'm sure they will be up there with the rest of the state. I do know that Collierville, Houston, & Arlington have very good youth programs. Edited November 23, 2010 by 2blLeg
pimpinshane92
HAHA i just noticed a kingsbury wrestler created this but on the list of schools kingsbury got left out just thought id point that out
memphissoccerpimp22
Some of the public schools like the Bury and Ridgeway and White station should form one team since try dnt have enough to really compete in a dual I mean Munford and Brighton do it and would save alot of ppl dual matches when a team has only 4 guys wrestling
