People thought Adams would not work out and mess up our team chemistry in 2008 after coming over from Science Hill.Coach done a great job and it worked out for all.We all know coach Clark will make the call on where a kid plays as well.I thought he was wrong when he moved Bateman and my son from linebacker and Fullback to defensive end.He knew neither wanted to play after DB and the move happen to get both players first team all conference and Northeast Tennessee.I was wrong and he was right.Coach moved Flemming from DE where he was all conference and NET, to linebacker and it only made him all-State his senior year.Bottom line on the transfer is if he can play and is a good kid that works hard,he will fit in just fine.We have lost some real fine players to North because it was not a good match at DB,so I hope this kid who is a really good looking athlete has his name called out many times at J Fred.

Ok. So he played in the South program and left with a bad taste in his mouth toward the coaches(can't remember the Coach that got run off because of a situation with parents) then he transfers to North and now to D.B.??? What the heck is wrong about this situation?? And do we need something that's going to be a distraction?? I guess on second thought, Clark won't let anything hurt his team chemistry. If drama starts this time i guess he's run out of teams. Anybody know if he's got any talent and what position does he play. I know his dad was a linebacker at South and his Grandfather played linebacker for Carson Newman.

No worries, He will be fine. He was just looking for a school that had indoor bathrooms.

WaCo I'll have you know that we dug two brand new indoor bathrooms just last week and will have a fresh new load of cobs just as soon as the corn comes in. Nothing short about Bloomingdale

On another note Trevor has loads of talent and size to do what ever he wants, I hope he is a star for you guys

Condolences to former DB football coach and current DB football broadcast commentator Fred Walton on the death of his son Jason. Loosing a son of 38 years to a heart attack has to be tough. I can't imagine.

I remember Jason well in High School. Sometimes things don't turn out like we think they should. Jason had some troubles in life, maybe even more than anyone should have. We are praying for the Walton family.

    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
