The X GC coach is there and on staff. We look pretty loaded this year except for the line (on both sides of the ball). I think we will have the fastest player in East Tn. this year in Foreman. Should be fun to watch Cook throwing to him when they get their timing down.

Don't put alot of stock into the first wave of scrimmages,theres alot of time between these and the ones in AUG.These are the ones to get the new kids movin up to get a chance to see whats to come for the next yr.WE R D-B!!!!!!!!!!ROLL TIBE ROLL

I too wonder how we done friday and if we even got to scrimmage at all.I'll find out in the next couple of weeks either way.I would be surprised if we got a whole lot of offensive production without our QB and top three playmakers,but pleasantly surprised if we did.

I didn't see it but was told we did scrimmage and that it was pretty slow without our key skill players.They said we scored on defense but I don't know if it was the first team guys.No surprise if that's the facts.Read on the Halls thread as well that it was 0-0.

I think Wingman means to play for a state football title.He might have been talking about another sport or a band competition,but since it's a football board,I'll go with it.I'm a pretty optimistic DB fan,but wouldn't make that claim for DB or my alma mater with it's much easier path to repeat a 4A state title . There are to many great teams and so many questions to be answered between now and four or five games into the playoffs.Every high school has a chance,but every 6A school in east Tennessee has to go through a pretty little town called Maryville in order to compete against another state power for the right to play in Cookeville.That's a lot of football if DB can just figure out how to get past the first couple of rounds to see the deep playoffs as a few years ago.It can be done,and I hope to see it in the next several years.
