West TN Football, with all the shady stuff going on in Choctaw nation does it suprose you the coach was dishonest?? The Dyer Co. West Tennesseans oops I mean Choctaws program is not viewed as a squeaky clean one by people in West TN so it is no surprise the Coach would be dishonest in this situation.

It is always the refs job to determine if shot is good and not to rely on any coach's word.I saw DC get hit for several tech's this season for just showing emotion this season. One kid is suffering a broken collar bone for not hanging on the rim because of the repeat tech's they've been hit.The TN officiating has been hard in many games all over the state this year about any signs of emotion during the game.

yeah the problems started with a blocking foul called on dyer and the basket was good but none of the refs saw the ball go through the basket, they discussed it, came to the scoreres table and the dyer county coach told the refs that the ball did not go in the basket, very poorly officiated and I do not know how to take a coach that will blatantly be dishonest especially in front of young men, dyer county has an outstanding basketball team, why be dishonest in that situation, this is what spurred the coach from soldan into the technicals. poor example of officiating and the coach from dyer county should never get on any of his players for being dishonest as he has set that example for them.

To: Mr West Tn Football and Wardawg

Blatantly dishonest, REALLY, wow your super natural,,, being able to see through someones Else's eyes, and then report it as fact, Or maybe I should just call you a lying crybaby.. Either way opinions are like a@@^$les everyone has one ...kinda like you, and now me of you;} If another coach cant handle poor officiating I suggest he get in line.. I can name a few season ending game the last two years in Memphis with players on the floor with 6 and 7 fouls if you want to talk about dishonesty involving the players coaches and score keepers that's blatantly dishonest..(there's tape to prove it) didn't see you complaining then, but not a coach who thinks a shot didn't fall.. come on man get real. The truth of the matter is this,, Soldan couldn't handle loosing you don't mention this coach being unprofessional or the conduct of the players nor there intentional fouls and language or thier coaches actions,, and how that will impact his players down the road in the example that he was setting.. You only point out that Dyer County's coach said a shot didn't fall. You evidently have a honesty issue yourself when you don't look at the other issue honestly,,, anyway or either way anything you post from now on is suspect,, but hey,, that's just my opinion..The sad thing is we can put a name on who your accusing of lying and being dis-honest.. but you get too lie and be dis-honest with a user name

    • Deja vu all over again, 7 yrs apart. SMDH Does anybody talk to each other?
    • OK, well, that’s because two quarterbacks can’t start. That’s football 101. The main quarterback won the starting job, so he was on varsity, and the Seymour transfer did not win the starting job. He played some varsity. He was mainly junior varsity, and he balled out when healthy, so for the starting quarterback who’s been starting varsity since his freshman year, if you have any form of proof that he’s gotten worse, somehow, whether that means stats or whatnot, please feel free to share.
    • They’ve both gotten worse. I’ve seen enough games to know that.
    • The only two transfers that Bearden has gotten that went on to play college football were a defensive back from Karnes, who transferred here way before the new coaching staff got here, and a running back from Carter, who went on to play at Maryville College. Both players received those offers while at Bearden, and both players got a diploma from Bearden High School. Therefore, they are Bearden kids, and you can’t do anything about that.   The transfer from Seymour didn’t win the job, what do you expect two quarterbacks to start at the same time? He played great on JV when he could stay healthy, and when he came in on varsity, he did great. The quarterback position is definitely going to be in good hands when the current starting quarterback leaves, but until then, they’re just going to be battling it out like every good quarterback competition does. The current starting quarterback has his flaws, and that is in the pass game, but what he doesn’t have flaws is running and scrambling, and if you go back and watch any game, which I’m sure you didn’t watch any, we used him very often, and when we needed a deep ball, we brought in the transfer from Seymour. The starting quarterback last year will be a senior this year, and the Seymour transfer will be a junior, so the Seymour transfer is definitely going to get his spotlight. He may even win the job this year. Football isn’t about who the newspaper thinks is the best kid. The best kid in the position will win the starting job, and I trust the coaching staff more than a newspaper or article to pick my starting QB.
    • I mean, we’ve only gotten two transfers that went on to play college football, one who went to UT Martin came his second semester junior year before the new coaching staff was here, and the other one went on to play at Maryville College, in which I don’t believe he had any interest prior to transferring.
