What was the loss of the team point for?

What was the loss of the team point for?

 

I think it was for unsportsman-like conduct on M. Lopez.

 

He really struggled in that match. And if I remember correctly he got called on stalling twice. The end of the third period, it really did appear that he should have been called on it again more than once. If it had been called, he would have lost; but instead it went into an extra period which Lopez closely pulled off. Some of the Bradley fans were booing the referee over it after it ended and Lopez reacted to the crowd back angrily. He took it personal, which is understandable, I guess.

 

Lopez is a kid who got caught up in the emotion of it instead of being glad he pulled off a very close match. He was fortunate to walk away with the win. It was probably one of his closest wins all year. At the same time, I don't really blame Bradley fans for reacting because it did appear it was a lucky break that tipped the win. It was number one (Lopez) against number three I think. It was unfortunate all the way around.

 

Anyway, that is what I understood the point was taken away for. Someone else may have more info.
