Cannon will beat LA. Upperman is easily shaken, York had them until the fourth quarter. It might come down to Cannon and DeKalb. In the end, Cannon will be the last man standing.

UT4life, not sure what end your talking about hoss. But cannon had no chance of being the last standing. They were playing 4 3rd!

And got 4th!!! Again with the "District MVP" the "District Defensive MVP" and the "Coach of the Year." Congrats to Upperman! Played a great game.

DeKalb is off to a 14-6 start. Playing without two pretty good players. You can listen on WJLE.

 

How long are they going to be out? They started off good, but then when Upperman applied pressure, Dekalb started to fall apart.

Yeah I expected that with the lack of depth without those players. I'm not sure how long, but it doesn't look good. One of them was a starting post player who just had knee surgery on a torn meniscus, and the other one who was a starting guard has a cast of some sort on his arm, so it doesn't look too good.

DeKalb came out with a 79-59 win that was cut from 79-49 after putting jv players in. They are playing some good basketball right now. Puckett played some minutes with his hand wrapped, but it's his shooting hand and it didn't go so well for him. We play Cannon Tuesday in Sparta.
