Pray for Goodpasture Coach Joey Spann

Right before the start of the second half of the Goodpasture/Lipscomb game Joey Spann had an apparent heart attack on the court. Medical personnel in the audience responded immediately until the ambulance arrived to take him to the hospital. Please pray for Coach Spann, his wife, his players and the entire Goodpasture family.

Of Course, Joey Spann is known well for his coaching days at Ezell-Harding prior to making the move to Cougarland. Hope for the best. I understand that he is being prepped for surgery tonight. Any idea when the game will be completed?

Surgery is scheduled for the morning now. No word on when the game will be finished.

Thankful for 2 Lipscomb moms and a Goodpasture mom who were nurses and a doctor in the crowd for a job well done in saving Coach Spann. Also if your school does not have an AED in their gym, they should have one today. Still praying for Coach Spann as he enters surgery today.

The people you mention who rushed to his aid were amazing. God bless them for their quick actions and heroic efforts. Amen to the AED. I believe having one there last night saved Coach Spann's life. Our prayers continue to be with him and his family as he undergoes surgery this morning.
