I'm not one to agree with raving lunatics, but if the free throws were actually 51-18 then FCS was given the game. I've only seen that happen one other time and the refs had no control over the game and just called a bunch of fouls to keep one team from playing. I've never seen a game where one team should have that large of an edge at the line.

 

Most of those foul shots were taken in the last 4 minutes,with JC fouling ,sinse they were down so much, just be glad our guards had an off shooting night or FCS would have won by 30.

Unless 25 or more of those free throws were taking in the last 4 minutes then the refs just lost control. You should win by 30 with that kind of spread at the line. How may field goals did FCS make?

Dont get on here and lie that was not how it went down. Its a 1 point game until the 10 point possession all due to the refs. Godwin takes a charge at halfcourt after one of the private school kids throws a pass and leaves his feet ball goes sailing out of bounds but maxwell decides to call a charge this sets all of JC's coaches and fans off because it was obvious it was a charge. #22 hits McMillan 3 or 4 times in the back of the head and when McMillan throws an elbow to get him back Dycus waits and calls a T at the same time they call a foul on one of our players. 4 foul shots and the ball, next possession kid goes up for a shot, JC fouls hard but went for the block and Godwin blocks the ball out of bounds they still call an intentional foul 2 shots and the ball, on the inbounds they call another foul on JC 2 more shots as the private school is already in the double bonus while they only have 2 fouls called against them. after they make the f.t. dycus starts an immmediate count even though we haven't taken it out of bounds and one of the refs is still talking to #44 doesn't even give us 2 second to inbounds by the time we get to the balla 5 second count is called, on the inbounds private school fouled again and 2 more foul shots. Give the priv school credit they made most all the free throws they were given. Godwin was getting killed down low all night by FCS no calls, we had 3 break away layups where our players where tackled and no call, we had kids getting knocked down with elbows no calls they would call a walk on our end and but nothing against fcs, they allowed fcs to stand in the lane all night and no call, so when stuff like this happens fans are going to get out of hand. If JC touched them it was a foul FCS could hang on our players hit them smack them push them and no calls until the last minute of the game when it was already decided then they started calling fouls to make it look better. It was obvious what they were doing so if you looked at the book it would look a little better. Godwin was a beast he had 37 points but if the refs had called for him like they did fcs he would have been at the free throw line all night and fc wouldnt have had any players left. They beat on him and McMillan all night with no calls so yeah naturally they are going to get frustrated because FC didn't win the game they were given it by 3 idiots! These 3 should not be allowed to ref another game its stuff like this that turns your stomach as a fan because your helpless against 3 individuals who have decided to end the season for one team. Anyone that gets on here an says this was a fair game is lieing. JC held FCS to 4 field goals the whole second half, they played good enough to win this game. The refs refused to call it the same on both ends, why i have no clue. Our fans were treated like criminals by FCS and its staff/police department. Dycus, Maxwell and Richardson should never be allowed to ref another game in my opinion. Yeah you guys can all get on here and give me grief and thats ok because i can take it and i can dish it out but when you cheat a team of kids that are playing hard its a whole different level in my book. REFS DID DECIDE THE OUTCOME OF THIS GAME!

I am neither a FCS fan nor a JC fan. I am just someone attending the game to see who was advancing on in the regionals. I must say that many, many questionaable calls decided this game. I for one could understand the enrage of the JC fans. If this happened to my home team, I would have to issue a complaint to the TSSAA. It may fall on deaf ears as many complaints to them do, but I would have my voice. It will take many complaints to get any change. If everyone sits back and grumbles and reports nothing, officaiating will continue to be the way that it is now. Also, after attending several games in this region, I think that some type of code of conduct for student sections should be developed and enforced. I have watched students bullying players and fans that goes way beyond typical fan heckling. At the district tourneys in both the 7a and 8a, I watched student sections behave badly. I know that these are tough districts, and games get intense, but I'm sorry, everyone including students should stay in control of themselves and be good sports.

This defintely was the worst officiating I have seen, and the outcome had to be decided before the game ever even began. It's sad that this is the game that will always be remembered for these seniors. It's also sad that refs totally controlled the game. When it comes to tournament time, you would think that it would be called fairly on both sides. A few questionable calls can always be expected, but this was as one-sided as it gets the entire game with the exception of the first three or four minutes of the game. Oh well, maybe FCS will get their due when they play Clarkrange.

Now of the 30-42 it was 18-29 in the 4th qtr when your boys were trying to catch up so don't get on here and WHINE about the refs. Heck they had to call fouls or we would have been wiping blood up off the floor.Bottom line is the best team won. We play as a team and yall are a ONE MAN team. And while speaking on that Jordan Godwin is the BEST player in our region for sure, he's the best we have faced all year and we had no answer for him. He just doesn't have help.

 

And as far as sportsmanship goes we didn't have a T called or the flagrant foul called and we didn't have a fan to be removed from the crowd....my gosh I have to belive what Bobcatfan was saying about yall is true. I was the one announcing the game and yes I screwed up and called your team the BULLDOGS a few times early in the 1st qtr until a NICE young ladt came to the desk and told me what I had done. I apologized to her and started calling them BLUEDEVILS. Not long afterwards I get this gentleman to come throw a piece of paper down in front of me telling me the same thing, But after the game when one of your "FANS" grabs me by the shoulder (evidently still pissed because yall lost) and is still telling me yall are the BLUEDEVILS not the BULLDOGS I told her I DIDNT CARE WHO YALL WERE and she still was eating me out and here it came "the ole CHRISTIAN TRUMP CARD...you need to take the Christian out of your school name so I told her I would PRAY for her on her LONG journey back to JC. Had to tell another lady the same thing and I will tell yall to CLEAN UP YOUR OWN BACKYARD before coming out to PLAY elsewhere.

 

 

Enough said about that as WE MOVE on and play Tuesday night at Watertown vs Clarkrange who I think is better than JC after watching that game in Livingston a week ago.

BigDaddy50 if you are referring to my post with the sportsmanship comment, I think you need to reread my statement. I said ALL should be good sports. Fans behaved badly on both sides of the ball and it shouldnt be allowed. As for the Christain trump card, whenever you label your self as a Christian, and you behave badly something is always going to be said. It is far better to show your Christian light by your behavior and conduct, and not with just saying I am one. As for me, I think that whole gym needs some praying for, for things were just not right on BOTH sides of the court.

you can get on here post figures all you want that doesn't make them correct idiot. The foul count is skewed because of all the late make up calls by the refs with a minute and a half to go they call 6 fouls on FCS when they didn't count and the game was already decided. All but one was a non shooting foul where all of your fouls except 2 were shooting fouls. Your team fouled as much or more and were just as physical as our guys were the only difference is the refs turned their head when one of our guys took an elbow to the face or a punch to the jaw but called the hand check against us at half court. They laid on Godwin all night, hammered him several times when he shot, cut his legs out, hit mcmillan in the head, knocked ragland to the floor with a vicious elbow to the face with Dycus looking right at it 3 feet away and .... yeah you guessed it no foul! So when you dig deeper you can see why our fans and players were upset. If you're the one that announced the game then you seen first hand how bad the refs were but they were one sided for your team so that makes it ok. We weren't behind the entire 4th quarter it was a 1 point game when the refs decided to take it over. So you sir need get your stuff straight and quit lieing about how bad the refs were because they were bad! Games over ya'll won, wasn't fair but ya did. Refs suck and were turned into the tssaa so they can deal with it. and as far as the christian school goes, our boys were cussed out all night on the floor by the recruits from the christian school so its anything but a christian school.
