TD Polk on a 4 yard run up the gut.

XP blocked

13-6

Copeland just busted a 40 yard run after a snap went over his head... busted plays can throw a defense off so much.

Goldston then runs it in for a TD, but holding is called along with a celebration penalty. 35 yard penalty. 1st and 45.

Yet again, the radio announcers are horrible...

They regularly announce that a QB steps back to pass, then get excited and say things like wow a lot before finally announcing the result right before the next snap. Or they announcing the wrong result, eg: "Its a touchdown!" before the ball is actually caught, and when dropped correct themselves in a way that is ambiguous at best, eg: "oops, nevermind".

I'm annoyed enough to bring it up because I stepped away for 5 seconds, missed the XP call and they didn't announce the score before either of two commercial breaks after.

19 yd TD pass Copeland to Stovall, catches a short pass and weaves his way through the defense.

They fail to announce the score after the XP is made, and instead discuss the sponsor of extra point's wife for nearly a minute before going to commercial.

Either 26-6 or 27-6

Akins is out for Polk.

TD Polk... run by Sacks.

2pt conversion fails on an incomplete pass... begging the question once again of why they do nothing but run(taking 6 minutes off the clock) when down 22 in regulation... but pass when the clock isn't running.

Apparently it's 27-12 after all.

    • They did a 10 play series deal instead of down and distance. LC scored twice but if it had been an actual game neither would have mattered because they turned over the ball twice with Sweetwater forcing fumbles both times. LC only scored on the 2nd stringers as well. Defense is looking solid and the offense has a good running back and receiver who did not play last year but made several great catches during the scrimmage, I believe the cats had some key pieces missing with baseball and track still being in season at the time. Considering the wildcats were matched up against a 5A school the cats held their own and forced multiple turnovers while also creating scoring opportunities against the LC defense.

I spent 27 years, faithfully in the United States Military. I don’t know if it was because I am Black or an easy target”
    • I don’t see any of them guys why leave programs to go there with no community backing or anything. Word up here on the hill is davy and veto into it over whose kid should be q b for jr high. • They had the toughest bracket last year and no one said a word. You will never make everyone happy. Someone is always complaining.
