Is ND offense that good? Thing is MC is a ball control based offense, they should keep ND from having a lot of possessions. I hear ND line is not real big, MC did a good job moving the ball against a pretty good size "D" in McMinn. Is ND a good passing team?

What type of O does ND run? Since I have not seen them it's hard to make a prediction on the game. Has anyone seen both teams I would like their opion too

I saw ND at the 4-way Sequoyah scrimmage (ND, Seq, Sunbright, Harriman). Out of the 4, ND was the worst. They were very small up front but had some good skill positions. They did not look to be very deep. As far as type of O, I don't recall anything that stood out so I can't say I remember. I have seen central at their 3-way scrimmage (Tellico, Copper Basin, Central) & at McMinn. From what I saw, I felt very confident Central would win this game but ND's O numbers were impressive regardless of their competition. I would think that Central should be able to run on them easily enough. my 2 cents

Central will give up more than 7 points.Their defense has improved from last year,But it is not a great defense,You have to remember that Mcminn co. had 3 or 4 touchdowns called back or the score would have been alot worse. If central does not win this game, then they will go 0-10 again.

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
