Happy Valley at Boone

Boone is coming off of what could be a huge momentum swing with a well needed win at volunteer, while Happy Valley is coming off of a huge loss against a great ball team with a chip on their shoulder after getting beat by the hill. Hale is a tough place to play and it's homecoming which I feel gives Boone the upper hand. Who walks away with the W?

Im not sure im with u on the numbers thing because Jenkins ALWAYS has a couple players playing both ways and alot of special teams...... Even when I and many of my teamates played under we all went both ways as well as special teams thats wht JJ always conditions his teams very hard.... Betsy 31 Boone 3. HV 0 Betsy 41 I believes how it went so its a toss up, ill take Boone comin off a win rather the Valley comin off a loss........... Boone 24 HV 14

the 3a thread is dead so ima copy my stuff to this one lol

Boone: 28

HV: 7

Reason: Happy Valley up until last week hasn't faced any teams that could really challenge them. EHS took it to them and Boone is obviously a tougher test than Central or Unaka as well. I look for it to be much like EHS vs HV but not as high scoring. During our game they went 2/9 passing on like 21 yds. Sure EHS had a strong secondary but still to only pass 9 times a game? They ran against us for like 140-150 yrds but thats literally all they did all game was run the ball. #5 was their main runner but if you stop him and pressure him they won't be much of a threat. Also their team is very small number wise so you all should be able to tire them out as well.

It will not be physical, HV has a few big guys but you all should work them over pretty good.

I like your post Track06 because it is probably describing this game the way it will be. You have seen both teams and have a good idea what they can do. All teams should improve as the year goes on, but Boone has a lot better team then the score indicated the first two games. Their defense played well enough to win, but the offense was not moving the ball and turning it over. Boone has made some changes like a good coach and team should do. If HV is depending on the run then it could be a long night for them with Boone's run defense being their strong point. Boone will have to prove they are better than the first two games and I agree with your score for this game. Boone 28 HV 7.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
