MBA vs. Baylor

MBA is not physical like prior MBA teams . They do not have more speed than most teams that they face and that is not a good reciepe for success. I hope that they can turn this season around and play more competitive brand of football. Both lines are not getting a push at all.. Baylor is physical and we must step it up this week or face getting pushed around again..looking at a 5-5 type year...

I really think MBA will be a very different team this week when we face Baylor. Also, Baylor is traveling to Nashville for the 2nd straight week....so they should be road weary. I think homefield advantage will play into this. Baylor is obviously a very talented team and maybe the best in D2 this year. I just think back to back travel games could take some toll on them. They say don't go with your heart on scores...but I will anyway.

Agreed. For crying out loud, MBA has not had what you would call an easy schedule the last couple of games. Very premature to wave the white flag on Big Reds season. Although Ill be a few miles down Granny White on Friday, I would like to see MBA re-group and pull this game out.

I try to have a positive outlook but the way we are losing is not good ! BA is down compared to the last couple of years.. We should have competed better...never in that game,,,Trinity is very tough but again we are not showing up..I hope that things will change..

I wouldn't be sk quick to say BA is down this year. They are very young, but have a lot of talent and looks better every tine they go out.

Baylor won't be road weary -- it's just a two-hour trip -- and home-field advantage means little in high school football. The Red Raiders are on Ensworth and BA's level this year, while MBA is a significant step below that. MBA will get better, but it'll be a long road, and the frustration will continue tonight.

Baylor 31, MBA 14

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
