blackandgoldforlife
This is the year that Upperman knocks off SC. Upperman has a very good passing game and SC's secondary is not very good. I look for the Bees to take advantage and win 28-24. No we got Smith County this week and we will win this year. It doesn't matter who the teams are that we beat. We were supposed to beat them. The Bees have a very good passing attack. This is not the same Upperman team that you played last year. A lot of the players that was playing on this year's team didn't even play last year. I do think it will be a shootout, I just don't see the Owls D slowing down the Upperman O. An Upperman fan finally has served a purpose. Julio you have made me laugh so hard I have nearly peed my pants. I would think not having players from last years team would hurt you, but that is coming from someone who actually knows a bit about football. The scary Upperman "passing attack" will be nonexistent and the Owls roll by as many as they want. Go Owls!
lookinggood
Lookinggood - can't really tell what team you support. You seem to know a lot about many different teams in this area. Where do you live? Kinda in the middleof every where, Silver point. Equal distance from Smith, Upperman and Dekalb but grew up in Sumner Co close to Westmoreland. Just a HS fan. I call easy win for SC. But hey, the 1980 olympics was a gimmie for The Russians. Guess this is why you play them. Wondering what the Smith Co fans think about the article about the 2 perry Co lineman ruled inelligable. Hearing some talk on one of there own lineman playing from out of county. Might just be rumor but who knows. lookinggood
"It's been the year of the quarterback, it seems," said Maynord. "It's been that way every week. We haven't faced a team this year that didn't have a really a good quarterback. We've got a good one too (Gage Scurlock). Connor (York)'s thrown for a lot of yards thus far, so that's definitely a concern. They do have some speed at some positions there that makes them dangerous. We have to do a good job of getting pressure and do a good job of coverage and hopefully we'll be OK." Scurlock has had a pretty solid season with 566 yards, seven touchdowns and two interceptions, and York really is proving to be a solid threat, picking up 1,018 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions on the year so far. This sound like at least a good game to watch if you like quaterbacks. Still I think the game will be over by end of 3rd.

You can't get to Jamestown from here!!

Guest Termite
Termite --- what about these players on smith county that don't live in the county....Any thing to this rumor? ON a side note...reckon the Horn blower be blowing that horn in a couple of weeks???? Or is our stellar win loss record going to show what kind of true fan the horn blower is? Where you been pattypeepers? I can't find anybody to play with any more. G-ville didn't have any chest thumpers. MC tried but didn't put up much of a challenge. I'm fairly certain all SC players live in SC. I know most of them, and their parents. Know where most live, A kid thay moved here from Baxter at the start of last year. He played last year, and is playing this year. And a kid that did live here moved to Lebanon in 7th-8th grade, moved back as a freshman and now plays at DCA as a soph.. Those are the only 2 I know about that haven't always been here, I feel cerain that Maynord checks this stuff out. Not many move in or out here. There are a few, that would normally go to SC that goes to G-ville. Less numbers and a better chance to play there, quicker. Horn blower??? From what I've been seeing, if he blows that thing they will have to stop the game to let the dust cloud clear. Win / Loss record??? Don't appear to be any such thing.Maybe a loss record. It's gotta be tough to be a CC fan right now. You coming??
lookinggood
Have to admit, Trousdale looks strong tonight. Threw 3 quaters, Freindship with 64 total yards. And they say this is a down couple years for TC. Will get real interesting if the do indeed choose to move up and play 3a ball.
