If your profile is correct, you would have graduated in 83. Central was 0 and 10 in 82,83 and 84. Not only did you not make it past the first round, you NEVER won a game. Your not any better than these players and coaches your bashing.

The Chiefs are too busy fighting about the new Black Jersey's! Maybe the team will wear Blue ones this week! :roflol: That is all the Vonore Croud cares about! Lets get behind our guys tonight and support them no matter if you are from Vonore or Madisonville. Maybe some day people will realize there is no Vonore or Madisonville high schools anymore. These guys deserve all of the community support (both vonore and madisonville)! It does not matter what color the team wears it is still SEQUOYAH HIGH SCHOOL CHIEFS!!!!!!

 

Chiefs win a close one tonight 28-21. GO CHIEFS!!!!

 

 

Well Sonny Moore's Power ranking has My Chargers winning by 3 should be a good game as long as our boys and yours both come to play

I'm afraid you may be in for a long wait if you want the two towns to ever come together. Central has been waiting for that to happen with Englewood & Etowah for over 40 years,, and it hasn't happened yet.

Bledsoe was one of the better offenses that we have faced. Yes I believe this is a new and improved defense. Bledsoe did have 3 offensive TD's, 2 should have not been but were because of officiating errors that kept their drives alive. 1 TD was defensive. Our boys are becoming very physical. Talking to some of the locals at Bledsoe last Friday they said this was the hardest hitting team they had faced all season, including Signal Mountain. IF that is IF we bring that same intensity, then why not 20 to 7?

What happened to the defense tonight?

      I agree with the Farragut and Bradley claim. Those will both be wins. Bearden like you say is depending on when you get them in comparison to when the wheels fall off.  As far as West goes I’m 50-50. They have been able to reload so far so until they show me they haven’t I can’t count them out.

      during the 2nd round of the playoffs last year against Milan, Gray partially tore his meniscus. He had a minor repair around Thanksgiving. Recovery time was minimal and he has been full force for baseball this season.

      Playing high school sports is a privilege not a right.  The college did not have to rescind the scholarship.  Scholarship offers are pulled all the time for a number of reasons. That was 100% their choice.  A coach can keep, cut, or dismiss any player that they want to without reason anytime they want.  Is that the right way to run a program?? I don't think that it is, but these are the facts of the matter. This case has absolutely 0% chance of going in the plaintiff's favor. Futhermore, I'd imagine that these administrators and the coach are a part of some teaching or coaching organization that will cover at least 1 million dollars each in legal fees. Obviously the kid and her family feel like there were "damages" thus the lawsuit.  Unfortunately, the law is not on their side in this case.

      Maryville will recapture the loses from last year against West, Bradley and Farragut. The Bearden game will be the tough one but I look for the wheels to come off that ride somewhere down the road because of all the crap that goes on there. I know to many parents there and some of the things I've been told and some of the post a few of them have made on facebook. They all can't be liars.
