Sequoyah is the type team that can bite polk in the butt after a big win . it has happened to polk before after this type of win . last friday is over and done .move on to this game . i dont care what the score is as long as there is one point more for polk than sequoyah has at the buzzer

Polk win win. Polk has a real chance at a Number 1 seed in Quad 2. Winning out would put them no worse than a number 2 seed. If Polk is going to make a run, they want to play on the road early. Would be great for them to have the home field advantage.

Polk will not overlook Sequoyah. They have turned into the biggest game in the district the past few years for some unknown reason. They haven't scored on us in what 4 or 5 years? Polk wins easily hopefully more than needed just to remind the Chiefs where they stand in the district

Polk clinches their 3rd consecutive District 5-AA Championship and remains unbeaten in the history of 5-AA (11-0). I look for them to extend their streak of shutouts vs. Sequoyah to 4 while they're at it. No love lost for Sequoyah in Benton.

I heard something from reliable soure. at the end of the game with a few seconds left polk has the ball signal call time out. last seconds remaiming and signal fires off the line low hard at polk players.was it legit or taking out fustration. which end of the field was the ball on?

Midfieldish? It was after the attempted onside kick and they were attempting to cause a fumble before our QB could take a knee. Probably legal, but cheesy as a high school play call.

 

Doesn't matter, we won, new week - new opponent.

The timeout was called at the half when Polk took a knee and headed off the field with about :08 to go and Price waited until there was 1.9 on the clock and half of Polk's team in the field house and called the timeout........ so Polk had to come back out pn field and take another knee .........
