ecu
Community is best team because they have best post player. Would agree that it is unlikely they will go undefeated in district. Would expect loss to Forrest on road. As stated earlier this District is very balanced with many average teams. Tournament will be great! Tournament will be great! If Pope gets hot from outside that could happen. District is very balanced this year. Saw Fayetteville recently -- young team, not much size, but they have tons of heart and will come at you over and over again. They will be a handful in 2 years. adamsgirls
Is Leverette playing against Forrest? Unfortunately Jake Leverette was out again tonight. Should be ready to go on Friday night against Cascade. Community went into overtime with Forrest and for sure could have used Jake!!! OT would have been nonexistent with Jake in the game......he's AWESOME!!! However the younger guys did a great job and are for sure going to be the team to watch in the future!!!! Unionvegas
Hate to burst your bubble but your future is this year! I totally disagree with this post. Last night with Primm and Leverette hurt the Vikings played 6 Sophomores and 2 Juniors. This team is good for years to come. The Vikings have done well to beat Huntland at thier place and had several chances to beat forrest without Leverette. Friday night as usuall against our arch rivals will be fun and the gym will be packed. GO VIKINGS!
ecu
First half review: Forrest- solid team with many upperclassmen, know how to win. Don't think they will finish first. Community- injury to Leverette will help them later; expect them to win regular season Cascade- young team with many big men; should challenge for top MTCS- three very good players; capable of beating anyone Eagleville-no post play;least talented team for them in years Huntland- expected them to be better;two very good players (need help) Moore Co.- play hard but very limited; post player getting better Fayetteville- young and talented; need experience but expect an upset Wish tournament were here already. Teams are very close. Fun year so far.

Every team plays without players due to injuries or sickness throughout the year. That's just part of it and you can't make excuses. I have nothing against Community and wish them well.
