WHHS2010
Based on updating the TSSAA data from week 9, I think the playoff brackets look like this for 4A. Does this look right? Liberty could also move from Quad 3 to Quad 4, instead of Chester County. I'm not sure how this decision will be made. Quad 1 (8) Stone Memorial @ (1) Greeneville (5) Sequoyah @ (4) Knoxville Carter (6)Sullivan East @ (3) Livingston Academy (7) Gibbs @ (2) Knoxville Fulton Quad 2 (8) Notre Dame @ (1) East Hamilton (5) Red Bank @ (4) Giles County (6) East Ridge @ (3) DeKalb County (7) Brainerd @ (2) Marshall County Quad 3 (8) Page @ (1) Lexington (5) Sycamore @ (4) White House (6) Macon County @ (3) Liberty Tech (7) Creek Wood @ (2) Maplewood Quad 4 (8) Bolivar at (1) Mitchell (5) Chester County @ (4) Kingsbury (6) Dyersburg @ (3) Fairley (7) Obion @ (2) Covington

There are several teams located farther east than LA that are in quad 2. Thanks

You have to go to the 4th tiebreaker to determine 6 & 7 seeds. Obion has 43 victories over teams winning 50% of their games while Dyersburg has 41 victories. Just what I see. WHHS2010
I am sure you are correct. It was about 2 AM when I was finishing this up! Do you agree that Chester County moves west? TennesseeSportsMan
Macon owns a head to head win over Sycamore and a better district record than Sycamore, but is the fact that Sycamore is 6-4 overall, and Macon 5-5 overall the reason why they are seeded higher? WHHS2010
Yes, head to head and district records count only in determining district standings to get the 1 and 2 seeds. After that, it goes strictly by tie breakers. Sycamore's sixth win puts them ahead of Macon. Macon is the highest rated 5 win team in 4A because of the number of .500 teams on their schedule. I think you are right with Liberty since TSSAA seems to be using north/south as the divider of which direction to send them. Nice job. WHHS2010
This update corrects the Obion/Dyersburg mistake I made.
