Lenoir City at Columbia

Lenoir City makes the trip to take on Columbia. What are your thoughts and predictions for this game? Both teams played each other last year in the first round with Columbia getting the W 41-23. Good luck Panthers!

Rematch of last years first round playoff game. I see Columbia winning this game by a few touchdowns. Its a long drive for lc and they will be overmatched against columbia on both sides of the ball. Would like to see a competitive gm for eats tennessee but i just dont think lc will be able to hang with columbia... Looking forward to a columbia vs powell matchup in the quad

One should not look too far ahead in these matters. Powell has a history of not being an especially strong playoff team (see last year). With Ooltewah and Tullahoma in this quadrant it is the deepest of the four Class 5A quadrants. It is way too early to start 'waiting' for a Columbia vs. Powell quarterfinal.

Powell did not have Mobley last year in the playoffs. He is healthy and rested.

I wouldn't be so quick to put Columbia by 30. I think it will be a closer game than that. LC can compete with anyone. The only game that wasn't close this year was Maryville. Columbia is favored to win of course, but I don't know about 30. Good luck Panthers!!
