South Greene won at Grainger 10 to 0 in 6. Hitting was spread around well. 2 SG homers. Not sure who they were by. Sorry. One hit pitching from Collins. Very solid all around performance for the Rebel's second game and a beautiful spring day. I love spring.

That sounds a bit more like what is expected from SG this year.

Rebels got it together today after shaking the bugs loose yesterday . Collins was absolutely ace on the mound and baxley hit two homers . Agreed respect the game much more like what was expected of them ... how about Greeneville and cd games ?

well honestly your talking down to players considered to be some of the best in the conference, some already have scholarship offers how can you consider that decent??. your making it very apparent your a sg parent. and i didnt say anything about collins?? so why even bring him into this. smith finished with a high batting average and is a very strong fielder banks behind the plate finished with one of the best fielding percentages in the confrence cash has a good glove in the outfield armstrong is strong all around and yes painter has a great bat but your not giving credit where credit is due. watch a game and youll see alot more talent then your giving credit for.. im not saying the sg boys you named arent top-notch but add a few more to your list buddy not to mention a rumor from the grapevine a crew of talented underclassmen, and i consider my opinion to be just as educated as yours buddy

Well that didn't turn out too well did it :)

Personally I think pre season predictions will hold up and it will come down to Sg and Greeneville . Sg goofed against Grainger in the opening game but seem to be on track since then . I was impressed with Chuckey doaks performance in their two losses to Sg . I think it is a toss up for 3rd between them and Grainger . I hadn't got to see Greeneville this year but I know those young men and they are a good baseball team . It will take everyones "a" game to beat them . As far as individually painter is hammering it for cd, Collins is pitching great for Sg and Baxley is hitting the long ball. Rambo and Lobrillo are doing exactly what was expected of them for Greeneville I hear . Wg has picked up a few wins I hear also

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
