greenecosportsfan
What about the best underclass man? I was impressed with the finchum kid and the other youngster from Greeneville . Little beans and Taters and some barbells and they will be tough
greenecosportsfan
Devil den I would agree that Baxley or painter would be the top choices for player of the year Pitcher of the year I would assume would be between Rambo and Collins . DevilDen
Devil den I would agree that Baxley or painter would be the top choices for player of the year Pitcher of the year I would assume would be between Rambo and Collins . Underclassman.. Finchum won that award last year.. from the BRAC as a Freshman...Not that impossible to win it two years in a row...Kid has a good future. Cole Hands Down for player of the year..I like Painter but, I think Cole is more important to SG success which I think should be a factor. As for Pitchers..Collins has a shot but, Got the Stats and Rambo is 4-0 with 1 more start with ERA just over 4.. SG game helped lower it.. Lobrillo is 4-0 with 2 more starts left with an ERA just under 2. Rambos best performance this year was against SG, Lobrillo's worst performance this year was against SG. It will come down to those 3 guys this year.

elucidative
One thing is certain: without Jameson Painter, Chuckey Doak would be very lost. He is worth more to his team than probably any one other player on BRAC teams. But like always, the one outstanding player almost always could be given to several players. Just depends on which team gets the nod. B etter teams have more than one that could be considered. I am glad it isn't up to me because you almost have to bypass some players with an equal claim to MVP. Just sayin.

Greeneville has taken the BRAC this year and has the first round bye...I would think SG will be number 2 seed. Does anyone know what the other teams records are? I can almost assure you that Claiborne is bottom seed just not sure about Grainger (I heard the Devils run ruled yesterday), CD, WG and CG. I can almost assure you that Claiborne is bottom seed just not sure about Grainger (I heard the Devils run ruled yesterday), CD, WG and CG. I don't know about tonights games but this is how I think things stand. Greeneville 11 - 0 (I think they defeated Grainger tonight and have a make-up game left with West Greene) South Greene 7 - 3 (I don't know how their games with Claiborne went this week) Grainger 6 - 6 Chuckey Doak 5 - 5 (Don't know about the game with West Greene tonight and they have a make-up game with Claiborne left) Cumberland Gap 5 - 7 West Greene 3 - 7 (Don't know about Chuckey Doak game tonight and they have a make-up with Greeneville) Claiborne 0 - 10 (Don't know about games with South Greene this week) I'm not sure if this is 100% correct so if anyone has a correction please let me know. greenecosportsfan
Sg 12-1 over Claiborne today . Play them again Thursday
DevilDen
Sg 12-1 over Claiborne today . Play them again Thursday With the Devils winning at Grainger and CD getting the "W" vs West Greene last night this is what I have come up with possiable match ups for the upcoming District Tournament. Seeding: #1 GHS 11-0 (make up with WG) #2 SG 8-3 (make up with Claiborne) #3 CD 6-5 (Make up with Claiborne) #4 GR 6-6 (done) #5 CG 5-7 (This is estimate on their record but, think I'm right) #6 WG 3-8 (Make up with GVL) #7 Cl 0-10 (Make up with SG and CD) ** the only thing that could change is the 4 and 5 seeds...and that depends on CD losing to Claiborne which I don't see that happening. Bracket: #4Grainger VS #5Cumberland Gap - Winner gets #1 GHS #3Chuckey Doak VS #6West Greene #2South Greene VS #7Clairborne Winner of 3/6 and 2/7 play and that winner will get winner of GHS and 4/
CDHSKNIGHTS34
I've looked around this forum and haven't seen it so I figured i'd post the link.. I'm sure most of you have heard about the story about Jameson Painter hitting a homerun to beat UH and hitting his own windshield in the process lol here is the write up. This has became national news my friends! it's great for Greene County and BRAC we are getting good press!! http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/highschool-prep-rally/tennessee-baseball-player-breaks-own-car-windshield-game-154700072.html
elucidative
Great story about Jameson. I am glad to see it getting some national exposure. Good for him and the CDHS Black Knights. I hope he got the windshield repaired.
