All I know about Brighton is based on their schedule/results. It looks like they are an explosive offense...but I don't see much success against quality opponents. Yes, they beat Millington...but Millington wasn't playing true to their customary form at the time (in my opinion).

I think WS will win this game, but obviously, as you get deeper into the playoffs, nothing can be taken for granted. They will need to be at their best to continue to the next round.

Go Cardinals!!! I know we have a lot a haters out there. Ones that thought Brighton couldn't make it past the first game. Or that we did not deserve home field advantage. Well beat Southwind and it was a good game. No blowout but good football. White Station at Brighton next Friday night. Any predictions.

As a friend of Coach Rutherford I expect them to be ready and beat a very good Brighton football team. As an Arlington supporter I hope we get the chance to face either one of these teams in the quarterfinals. Good luck to both. I am sure it will be a close game either way.

seen some film on brighton , seems like if you take the wr foster out of the game , the get a little lost. good running back and qb that is good but seems to be erratic as of the last few games with several picks. seems like when teams match up man to man , brighton can't handle the pressure.

this uncharted water for the cardinals , 2nd round of the playoffs , some where this team and staff have never been.

like to see brighton win , so they can play whithaven and tim stallings next.

there is a beatdown.

I'm going with White Station. I read the account of the game in the Commercial Appeal. My interpretation from what I read is this. If Cedrick Miller Jr. doesn't get hurt, then we are talking about White Station against Southwind, because Ced Miller Jr was too much for the Cardinals to handle. However, injuries come with the game and Brighton escaped Southwind. They won't escape White Station.

Just saying how I see it. If that's hating, then so be it.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
