Congrats Distict 12AA

5 District12AA teams made a statement tonight by winning in the first round of the 2011 playoffs. Most of way to go Page for the big upset over Lexington! The only district loss came from Hickman county but they lost to another district12AA team in Fairview. Wanna congratulate Hickman county on a terrific season and to Coach Rewis for getting them back to the Playoffs. Marshall did an awesome job defeating Notre Dame as did Giles against Dekalb hope to see all three of our 4 teams make it to the quarter finals! Lewis County great job pulling out the W against Manassas. Sets up another Fairview/Lewis matchup! Sadly only one of our 3A teams can make it to the quarters due to them having to go through one another to get there! Let's go Jackets! Once again congratulations all teams for an outstanding 1st round in the playoffs!

Like it's been said all year. Playing a strong schedule during the season may not give you a perfect 10-0 or a home game but what it will deliver is a team ready to compete in the playoffs. We made each other better and that's a very good thing. Congrats to all and thanks for helping the Cats get better. Best wishes to all in round 2.

No kidding. This was a wild year in District 12AA. There was no team that just ran away with every game. All the teams had losses within the district. For everyone to go out in the first round and win (except Hickman which lost to another 12AA team) says just how tough this district is. Even if nobody goes on to win it all I don't think anyone can doubt the strength of District 12AA. Huge win by Page nobody gave ya'll a shot. Big congrats to Giles County. We weren't favored and had to go away from the brickyard but as always nice job by the coaching staff and even better job to the players for going out and getting it done. Now we get to introduce a new opponent to the BRICKYARD!

Thanks for the congrats. We were hoping for at least a score in that game. Oh well, we are very proud of the bulldogs! No one would have ever thought that in August we would've made it to a playoff game. Coach Rewis has really turned the team around. Maybe next year he can work on the fans and get them yelling.

Yeah, what a time to start a football program with just underclassmen. But the experience of playing in this District this year has already paid dividends as shown in our JV and freshmen games. The strong competition only made us stronger. Next year should be interesting too. It looks like there was a lot of great Senior talent across the board but some fairly young teams overall.

District 12AA now has three teams going to the next round. Marshall,Giles,and fairview all won tonight. Congratulations to PAge and Lewis county for a hard fought season! Unfortunately Giles and Marshall face off next week. One has to go home. Positive side is that it's guaranteed a 4A representative of district12AA will be playing in the 4th round for a chance at the big dance. Goodluck to both teams. Fairview hosts Milan. Jackets work hard,practice hard and play hard and bring home a W!
