  1. 1. Who wins this matchup?

Just jersey numbers, not stats. My bad. I want to watch them during the game. I guess I can figure it out when I get there.. I'm remembering Stinson being real fast from track numbers posted and seeing him against Tenn High at a scrimmage last year.

West must be loaded with talent to take a sophomore all-state safety off defense. I don't know that I've ever seen or heard of that. It's obviously working so why question right?

It won't matter how many are there. The West coaching staff, team, student body and community were overwhelmingly supportive of Sullivan South during the last two years. The photo on the team's equipment trailer made me well up with tears when I saw it last year at South. I cannot speak for others, but for me it will feel like sacred ground to re-visit. I trust our young men will bring their best effort for that reason alone.

Oh, Mitchell is #18 and Stinson is #10. And yeah, West is pretty loaded I'm not gonna lie. Hope it's INJURY FREE! :thumb:

In the local paper somebody said South had finally figured it out. Wonder what that was?

There was never a doubt in this one. West's defense was calling out the play South was going to run as soon as South lined up. Not just the coaches, but all the players. Pretty much sums it up.

But hey, the "stars" got their touches and obviously that is all that matters.

Hey, J, what would you like to have seen?? be specific. Who didn't get their chances in this one, in your opinion.

What an arrogant post. As if you know more than the South coaches. Thats what's wrong with your team. You know your arrogance spills over on the team. Thats why South can't win in the playoffs.

DB & done

You took that post, in the DB/SC thread, the wrong way. Believe it or not, I was actually trying to help DB get past their playoff problem by laying out what the problem is in the first place. It was honest and truthful and should be read aloud at the big meeting tonight, where it will it all be laid at the feet of Clark. That you take it so personally and makes you so angry is just gravy and confirms that you know it is true.

    • Yeah, we came up short. I remember we threw a ball over the middle to #5 Guymon? and he came up short of the sticks. Gave em he&& for a bit though.
    • Doe dee doe doe…..hmmmmmmm one of those players can run faster than my lawnmower when I put it in 5th gear turbo.  You can bet the lawnmower on that.
    • Yeah I am on board and plan on coming down from the Ridge for some home games, great Friday night atmosphere there.  I'm really hoping SC can get them back going and have some success for those fans and community.
    • Yep I was field level on the scoreboard end throwing ball with Benny when we had that brief lead. Everybody got very excited but it was short lived as Murvil regrouped and went into machine mode. But yeah,  that hit sounded like the crack of a black powder rifle being fire.  I believe Dozier took one like that as a Soph up at Greeneville after on olay block.
    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
