Dresden vs Westwood

I hope our effort against Westwood is as impressive as the last two games. The hard work these players have put in this season is showing up and paying off. You guys are doing a great job Hogheaven and this community appreciates what you are doing.

Is there any truth to the rumor that this game could be moved to Dresden because of a bigger crowd? It would be awesome but I just cannot fathom that the TSSAA would deprive a second seed team of a "home" playoff game.

There is a chance that the game could be played in Dresden because Westwood doesn't have a field and if they come here they get half of the gate. I hope this game will be on our home field. I am so very proud of our guys, coaches, and fans. The game last night proves that you never underestimate the power of what the heart can do for one person or a team who wants it!!!! I can't wait to see our boys playing in the Friday Night Lights again!!! I hope that all of Weakley County and more will come and show their support if this game is played on our home turf. Work Hard Lions! Remember that Evey Practice should be played as if it were a game! I think we will pull off another win. I loved the fact that our crowd seems to grow a little every time! Love Those Lions!!!!

It wouldn't be tssaa. If the westwood coach wanted to. I'm sure we can feed the westwood young men before and after the game. show them a little lion hospitality if they decided to come.

Westwood uses one of the city fields and I would be very surprised if tssaa allows them to move it. Westwood fought hard to get there no.2 seed and I don't see them being willing to give up their true home field advantage.

Congrads to Dresden Lions from Huntingdon. Our District is doing well so far during the play-offs

 

With the loss of Trousdale County I'll be pulling for you guys to make the trip to Cookville and play for the Gold against Friendship. (A Private school)

Who cares where the game is played? It seems like our crowd cheers louder & our boys play harder on the road anyways plus we're undefeated on the road. The Lion Posse will just have to charter us a big ol' bus to Memphis. Go Lions!! All the way!
