According to the Tennesssean article Maplewood's head coach expects him back next week. But if he is not, Jones might be a better choice against speedier teams as he is a more of a power runner. Vanlier is fast, but small. He's not going to run over many guys. So the key to stopping him is not letting him get beyond the line, in open field. Teams with speed can do that a little better.
