Swindoll isn't all Friendship has.... They have solid defense and a DEEP line up of hitters. Along with other notable pitchers that got them to the state last season....Snider & Godwin & Wood. Off to good year hitting for the commanders..... those boys will be hard to beat.

Never said Swindoll was all FCS has, don't forget Erie is as good a high school catcher as you will see.

I am very knowledgeable about FCS baseball, I even know the MS team/coaches.

Friendship is very good this year. they have a complete team with depth at the pitching position. I wonder how they'll do in the Wilson County invitational. We usually start out the year at best with a 4-4 record. I'm hoping they can start out 6-2 or 7-1 this year. That would be awesome, 8-0 would be the best but that would be extremely hard to do. Does anybody know who we play in pool play in the tournament?

All I know about Baseball this year is we are suppose to be the best, and we are suppose to win state. With all of our other state wins, thats gotta be some pressure. Is all this hype, or are we really REALLY good like ive heard? Gotta go to some baseball games, but I have full attention at basketball right now (we play state tom!). So, do not really know a lot yet about our team. Anyone wanna fill me in?

MJ was supposed to play FC ( middle school ) last week, but FC had too many kids out. I think we play them later in the year. MJ middle is at the top of the middle schools in the area.

 

Doyle if you have time.............

 

April 9th through the 15th with the 14th and 15th being the elimination rounds, I have a middle school state tourney at MJ. The field consist of 5 counties represented, Rossview, MJ, Brentwood Academy, West Wilson, Hendersonville, Kenwood, New Providence , Stewarts Creek, Siegel, Nashvile Monarchs, Dickson, Walter J. Baird.

 

If you want to see some good middle school players......

      Im more of a Basketball follower than football and like I said we play what we have, there is no going and recruiting or even talking kids into transferring…..and to rebut about Memphis teams in finals I’ve watched Memphis East and Penny Hardaway with the enrollment of a single A team play up and dominate any and all challengers for years! They aren’t the only ones either Mike Miller and son at Germantown put together that super team a couple years ago that ran through the rest of the state! Other teams from Memphis or Chatt or Nash or any large populated area pop up and are relevant out of nowhere every year because they get an influx of talent be it from a new coach or AAU affiliations it happens in football also just like any other sport! I hope these two schools that close join together and get to play the team you support, then you may see it differently! I find it funny some of you think recruiting and resources don’t matter . The county schools get very little funding also but you don’t want to get me started on that part!

      In a total classless move, Coach Simmons once again shows his true colors. Waits till the day after school is out to let everyone know he is leaving. Fails up to a community college job after a lackluster 2 year span at GH. And do not tell me about the state run that saved a sub .500 season and plenty of whippings by Cookeville and Lebanon.  Looks like the girls job at GH is cursed. Terrible MS program/coaches feeding what is turning out to be a joke of a HS team.
