ddaddy
I love to play the numbers game with football teams. If you rank team by the points scored and points given up and then combine the two it is very interesting. Lets use 2A as an example (we will take the top 10 only to save space): Points scored per game, 1.Sweetwater 38.5 ppg 2. Tyner 37.2 ppg 3.Lewis Co. 35.2 ppg 4. Huntingdon 34.1 ppg 5. Goodpasture 31.1 ppg 6. Westview 30.7 ppg 7. Fairview 30.1 ppg 8. Marion Co. 29.8 ppg 9. Loretto 28.6 ppg 10. Hampton 28.4 ppg Points given up per game, 1.Carver 6ppg 2.Lewis Co. 6.6ppg 3.Goodpasture 8ppg 4.Fairview 8.5ppg 5.Mitchell 8.7ppg 5.D'Lipscomb 8.7ppg 5.Oliver Springs 8.71ppg 8.Tyner 9.1ppg 9.Waverly 9.2ppg 10.W Green 9.4ppg. If you add the rankings up and take the lowest total first here's what you get; 1.Lewis Co(7-1) 2.Tyner(7-0) 3.Sweetwater(7-0) 4.Goodpasture(7-0) 5.Fairview(6-2) 6. Mithcell(5-2) 7.Carver(6-2) 8.Milan(6-1) 9.Huntingdon(6-1) 10.Waverly (5-2)

pujo
While it's fun to look at,it won't be very accurate. Some teams could score alot more, and they could give up less.

thriller
that's true b/c a lot of those teams put in 2nd stringers when they build and insurmountable lead to keep from running the score up, and then the 2nd string defense gives up points after the 1st d has kept a shutout. you've got a good point.
