goblue1
I think that there are going to be some great competetive weight classes this weekend and a couple with little suspense. Anyone have any ideas of great championship match ups. I think there will be good championship matches at 106-132-138-160-195-and heavyweight should be pretty good. What class do you think will be the hardest to place in and who puts more wrestlers into states?

At 195, add Carlos Harrison of McGavock. If I'm not mistaken, he beat Venuti at the Region 6 Duals.

WrestlingGod
WG, another mistake. Montgomery Central is not in our region. I never claimed to be "the wise one" then again I guess since I'm getting jumped on for a couple mistakes I'm being held to higher standards. If you knew me personally you wouldn't hold me to such high standards lol. If they aren't in the region just omit the names. They call me "Mr. Wise one", don't try to confuse the bloggers by stealing my nickname.

goblue1
The seeding meeting is tonight. Can you clarify something for me, I am seeing a lot of kids seeded number 1 or 2 in a weight class that have not wrestled at that class all year. Dont you have to have a certain number of matches at that weight to get seeded. I was always under the impression that if you enter the regional tournament at a weight that you have not wrestled at all year that you did not get seeded. No, as long as they qualify for that weight class, and follow the descent plan, they are fine.
