I don't know if the fans can keep enough composure to finish the game. However, if they do i'm going with VB by 10. Still wish I could have made the last appearance, sounded like a great game until the spoiler ending.

 

Regardless of who wins I just hope that the game can actually be played without interuptions. What happened last time was a disgrace, no matter who you lay the blame on. Looking forward to a great game with an atmosphere that I know will be unmatched.

No doubt it will! Suppose to be a sale out with Channel 4 and Channel 5 there! The WC boys had a meeting yesterday afternoon to prepare and eating a pre-game meal with Spencer to try to keep the peace, however it wasn't the boys with the problem last game it was the fans and WC coach! I would say with all the publicity Coach M will finish the game this time. Should be a great game!!!!

YEP!!! I don't know why Spencer cancelled????? I work with 2 ladies that live in Spencer they said it didn't do anything on the mountain last night????????????????

It was the only game cancelled in the state last night. Warren County had ordered a pre-game meal for both teams and cheerleaders and it was our pink out night to raise money for cancer. Van Buren county had no plans of playing this game and should have the guts to call last week to cancel it. It shows poor sportsmanship on their school, players, and fans.

Right on!!! The weather was alot worse Friday night when WC drove to Cookeville to play!!! What a bunch of cowards!!!!! Wish our school could demand it be rescheduled and played!!!

First of all, I have no dog in this hunt. BUT, let me see. I believe that the last time these teams played, one team left the floor before the game was finished. Second, many games are cancelled prematurely because of the THREAT of inclement weather. However, I do agree it was a little premature. The responsibility of the VB principal is to worry about his students (players and those who may travel to the game). I don't necessarily agree that it should have been cancelled, but to call a school, players, and fans cowards is quite an exaggeration. Unfortunately it is close to district tourney time, so they can probably play next year.

I don't get all the disappointment in a 2,000 student school not getting to play a 200 student school (9-12).

One, its was the seniors last home game of the year. Number two it was going to be pink out night and all the proceeds were going to a good cause. And lastly, some one needs to tell the adminstration up at van buren co to step up and grow some. Because playing scared will get your teams no where.

OH! I got it! Van Buren County being the cynical people that they are had a master plan all along to get Warren Co. to buy a whole bunch of food from some restaurant for the sole purpose that they knew it would be wasted! Then get them to waste money on a charity fundraiser for breast cancer awareness! Then they knew all along that, in the end, they would cancel it..

 

Man, apparently we need to start giving these mountain folk a little more credit. Apparently they are just masterminds at messing other people's plans up!
