Macon needed a 3 pointer at the buzzer to beat Waverly last year and Waverly lost only one player. You might not want to count your chickens before they hatch.

You know last year DL and CPA girls were fairly even. I don't believe the teams have changed that much since last year as both teams were young. However, CPA has taken steps forward this year, and DL has not. Not sure why.

And Waverly's best player was playing on a torn ACL/with brace. Wash that too! Plus it was at Macon.

Watched the DL Macon Co. game last night. Disappointed at the outcome. Congrats to Macon Co.! The Lady Mustangs had Calamity Jane in foul trouble early and had their chances. Just couldn't get some shots to drop that maybe should have. Was hoping to watch the Lady Mustangs play at least a couple more games with the upset but it wasn't to be. Good season Lady Mustangs & good luck Macon County!

 

Yeah, the CPA girls are quite impressive. Watched the first half last night. Looks like it got uglier in the second half. Should be interesting to watch them through them make a run. Good luck to them too!
