Well Jackson county prolly not.

Clay prolly not as well lol but that means Whitwell will have nothing to loss then right? Soo Clay will travel 3 hours to play a team they think is gonna be a cake walk. We will see what happens though.

I can't wait!

Don't hold your breath. The refs the T$$AA sends down there believe in home cooking.

Rember a 48-2 foul ratio on a team from here 2 yrs ago.

If Whitwell and Jackson meet up, Whitwell has noone that matches up with Hensley. The best match up for Whitwell is Clay County. For a little while Clay will have their hands full because it will be a home game for Whitwell and Clay will have traveled 3 hours to get there, BUT when it's all said and done Clay will have their starters resting on the bench after being up 20+ points. Other than CSAS a couple of years ago, there hasn't been a team from that region to be able to compete with another team in region 4 in a long time.

I still think the 2 teams to beat in A is Lake County and Jackson County...

Lake Co. didn't do themselves any favors tonight by losing to Union City.Madison is a better team than Adamsville, but it goes way deeper than that as A'ville would be tailor made for L.C.'s style of play. The Cardinals have only one player with size enough to be a problem for Hart, but is a much better perimiter player than post(no inside presance),no problem.A'villes best weapon is #4,a slim fairly tall guard with blazing speed and pretty good quickness that gets her loads of layups.Downside to her(against L.C.) is no outside shot, and TeTe is one of the few in 1A that can run with her, again not much of a problem.Only other real threat to score is the shooting guard(#5),when hot she is lights out but needs lots of space to shoot, and relies on teams having to double off her to stop #4 for that space, again no problem.Madison on the other hand has two post players that pose problems in the box.The taller of the two is only a freshman(usually comes off the bench),but is very tall at probably 6'3"and has a baby hook that's impossible to defend if she catches it down low.The other post(#31) is 6',has some good moves and shoots a high percentage out to 15'.Point(#11)is a great floor general, handles the ball well, drives and dishes, and shoots well behind the arc.Shooting guard(Sopceck,#14 or #15)is deadly from three.Madison plays intense pressure defense, they'll play as rough as the refs' will allow, wear you down on both ends, and attack your best offensive players, usualy resulting in foul trouble or fatigue.Coach Patterson rotates fresh legs in at EVERY dead ball, goes 9 or 10 deep on the bench without any noticable dropoff, and is very creative in using multiple screens and rolls to allow his bigs to catch the ball where they need it to score. This is the fourth consecutive season that the Lady Falcons have been as good as you'll find in 1A,and in the prior three(sorry L.C.,but it is what it is)when they meet up with someone good enough to push them close to their limit they usually(with the exception of Bradford last season)find some way to lose.I believe that Lake Co. is definately good enough to win the gold ball,do they believe?

Here are all of the Region Finals in Class A---which of these teams make it to Murfreesboro?

REGION 1

Cloudland vs Cosby

REGION 2

Tellico Plains vs Wartburg Central

REGION 3

Van Buren vs Whitwell

REGION 4

Jackson Co vs Clay Co

REGION 5

Moore Co vs MTCS

REGION 6

Summertown vs Loretto

REGION 7

Union City vs Lake Co

REGION 8

Madison vs Adamsville

Keep in mind the following:

Region 1 vs Region 2

Region 3 vs Region 4

Region 5 vs Region 6

Region 7 vs Region 8

Which 8 teams close the deal and make it to the glass house?

I SEE IT THIS WAY.... Cloudland and Cosby both advance along with Clay Co. and Jackson Co., then Moore Co. and Loretto and Union City and Lake Co.
