Soddy Daisy player Talon Harris critically Injured in wreck

Just heard that Talon Harris of Soddy Daisy was in a wreck on Saturday morning and is in critical condition.

4/1 Rest has done the body Good, Talon moved his arm today and the Dr says he seems to be coming out of it now that he is off all Meds.

 

3/29 Talon broke his wires in his mouth while yawning , they fixed the wires, but had to put him back on breathing machine due to him not getting any rest over the last 2 days, No visitors this weekend

 

3/24 Talon had his eyes open for most of the Day, still not much movement from his body

 

3/22 Talon is on his way to his new room.. Sixth floor IMCU room 1 visiting hours are 8-8

 

3/21 Talon is off all the Meds and he is Breathing totaly on his own, that is Great News, his parents are filling out paperwork to get him into the Shepard Rehab Center in Atlanta. Vitals are holding steady and looking good.

 

3/20 SDHS is having a Buckle-Up for Talon Walk to the Crash Site on Thursday morn at 8:30

 

3/17 Performed a MRI, results Mon

 

3/16 Good News, Talon s eyes opened and blinked a couple of times, moved his head and the ICP was removed and they are cutting back on his Meds

 

3/13 Tues Placed a feeding tube in, unable to do the jaw alignment due to Vitals being unstable

 

Sun 3/11 Vitals a lot better, No meds today and Pressure is still down, a good day

 

Sat 3/10 Vitals are more Stable, swelling was minimal

 

Fri 3/9 He had some brain swelling and his Vitals were unstable, gave him some meds to lower the pressure.

 

Thurs 3/8 Trach is in, larnyx tube is in, resting well.

 

Tues. Vitals are good, still not much change, but the good news is he's holding steady.

 

Sun Update from 4 on visit...the pressure in his brain was up and we weren't able to touch him or talk to him and at the end they did talk to him and pressure got up to 26 so they had to sedate him more but they did call and tell them it did go back down to 17. They like the pressure reading to be below 20. They next several hours are very crucial thank you to everyone that is checking on him please keep sending up the prayers

 

Sat. Afternoon Update Here is the latest update on Talon the latest ct scan showed some additional bleeding on the brain but no swelling there was minimal change in the cr from the am to pm. He will have a trach placed tomorrow and the vent tube removed for further evaluation of this throat. They are letting him wake up some so please keep him in your prayers as the next few days are going to long and rough for him and our family.

 

Sat Morning Update: he has massive injuries to his face and a bleeding in his brain but no swelling and its not getting any worse. he has a crushed larnyx and numerous broken bones. he will have a long road to recovery ahead please keep praying. he is in the icu in critical condition.
