Obion Co vs Stone Memorial

Stone played a great game today!! They have the best defense around. Kicked it off on a 9-0 run which is not to shabby on offense either. They lost by 9 but the game was much closer than the ending score. All you who trash talked and said it would be a blowout just had to eat a lot of crow! Making the Final Four was a job well done girls. Way to end the season.

Mismatch. Obion can name their score, IMO. Stone shut down a good shooting Waverly team that couldn't buy a free layup, but Stone can't shoot either. 8 to 8 at halftime.........really?

 

Anyway, good luck to both teams, would be nice to see another close game, however, I feel that Stone has no hope on the low block to stop Goodman. Goodman scores 30, Obion in state final Saturday.

Goodman only had 21 and 13 so I guess I was off by 9. They still won going away (even though some poster above said it was closer than the score, lol, believe it was 14/16 cut to 9 in last minute) and I still standy by my opinion that it was a mismatch. Sorry, just my opinion. Everybody has one. Obion and CPA is going to be an awesome final! Can't wait to watch it tomorrow.

You were down in the 1st quater, up by 6 at halftime, only up by three points going into the 4 quarter. That was pretty close in most peoples minds. Our girls did great. Good luck to your team tomorrow. CPA is a great team.
