What in the world happened in that one. I wasn't expecting it at all. Just a few weeks ago DC beat Warren by like 18. Goes to show anything can happen.

LA got a nice win today beating Alcoa, a good team from the east with a win over mcminn central on their resume.

DC girls are better than what people think. At least I my opinion. It's not a fluke that DC took LA into OT and was only down by 9 at the end of the third. The only thin that hurts them is they can't finish games out. I do believe the top 2 dogs are cannon and LA but its not a fluke what Dekalb did.

The Cannon game last night was hard to watch. I think we came in thinking the game was going to be a cakewalk. We did not shoot well and the bench did not come in and help much either, but I do have to give Warren's team and the coaching staff credit for being ready to play. I just hope our girls can learn from this and not let this become a habit.

I hate to say this, but they have a long way to go after what I've been seeing. That win the other night was with a performance that would get us blown out in district play. We also kinda live and die by the three. We have almost no post play when we play teams with even moderate size down low. And when you get defensive pressure such as what Cannon got on us, then the threes just don't fall.

DC vs Gordonsville Tuesday night. We do well out of district but cant win in our district. What's everybody's thoughts and opinions on the reason why. DC will beat Gordonsville handily.

Girls beat Lancaster christian. Didn't go to game but heard they weren't very good and we barely one. Finally back in win column. All about wins for Cope. Oh well a win is a win. Good luck lady Tigers.

Yeah that's why I said the performance that won that game would've been a blowout in district play. We played pretty bad and still won. But man the guys were insane. If they had an equal girls team then it would've been a horrible night.

Why do you think they are having such a hard time getting over the district hump?

Mental part of the game can be very tough. This is a talented DeKalb team. District is very tough but has been winable games. Hopefully 2013 will be a different outcome.
