Team 147 decided to test the AAU waters this year. The "AAU Nationals in Memphis" thread in this forum has a rundown of the middle TN teams at AAU nationals, including 147. The "Congrats to 147" thread has the team lowdown. They finished 47-8 for the season and won 9 of the 12 tourneys they entered including the Tournament of the Americas in Atlanta and three 8th grade tourneys.

The Vision were looking forward to facing the team 147-A4O. Its a measuring stick of sorts for the kids playing a really good team like 147. We won 7 of 12 tournaments played. We won the Michael Jordan brand classic in Charlotte NC, AAU subtate eastern division champions, and the boys won two 9th grade tournaments and finished runner up at YBOA State and in a couple of 8th grade tournament. The Vision was 2-2 in the Knox Vegas Classic playing nationally ranked teams like the South Carolina Raptors, Atlanta Knicks and the ATL Rockerfellas. The Vision lack size, a 6'0 post isn't enough against teams with 13 year old 6'5 post players or in case of the Rockerfellas 6'8, 6'7, and 6'3. Never-the-less, good season.
