If they finish fourth this year in 8AA, they need to be happy. But highly unlikely as I feel York and Upperman battle for third and fourth.

I am holding my thoughts, for the most part, 'til I see how the rebuilding progresses. I mean for all programs in the district.

Livingston...talented. Had the pleasure of coaching most of them at some point. Great kids, better basketball players. Cannon, right there with them. Return 95% of scoring. Upperman...needs guard play, Carter is one of the tougher players in the District. York...what can Choate do in year three? If he can pull it together, with the new post player, they might be really tough. Rest are playing for whatever they can and can be an upsetter at anytime.

I'd say JC and CR will be hard to handle this year...JC more than CR. Clay though...not as much. Thought Joe would have retired after pulling it off last year. Their next strong group is entering the 7th grade.

Clay lost a lot of seniors last year so they won't be as strong this year, but should still finish 3rd in that district. I would love to see the match ups between CR, JC, Cannon, Upperman, and LA. Those would be some fine basketball with 2 of the best teams in the state going at it.

we can all see JC with those teams because they play LA and Upperman twice every year but those teams are top notch year in and year out and will always be competitive at any level. And on Hackett she's a very good player and her dad grew up here went to school here and boy I wish he'd come home. Edited August 4, 2012 by senator

I agree but so have you all but could't do anything with them after they came, Carr from LA was awful good as a freshman and Ferris could have taken anyone else to state.

Ferris went to Forks River Elementary in Smith co. before she went to Jackson. Carr. Good kid but a far cry from L.Leonard. I cant think of no one else that has transfered in that brought any thing to the table.
