Central Chargers vs Polk Co. Wildcats - Thursday Game

A much improved team this year will result in a Charger win by at least 10.

Why is the game on Thursday? I have to go with Polk on this one but excited to hear that Central has improved! Will make for an exciting game! Good luck to both sides and pray for an injury free game

It's because of the Tennessee game being on Friday...I'm gonna have to go with the Chargers on this one...I doubted them until I could see what they could do...Now I know what they can do...Hope it translates into a win

Chargers always play County closer than what the talent would lead you to expect.. so as an outsider looking in, I never put much into that game. You whipped a Notre Dame team that really isn't good. Really. They had about 40 total yards and one first down in a 2 hr game type scrimmage at Polk.

Polk has been beaten handily by a good 6A school, and struggled with a not very good 4A* school.

Very similar to last season for these teams at this point, except both are 1-1, as opposed to 0-2 like 2011.

Those are the facts. Let's let them soak in for awhile. CM is looking forward to LCM and Smoki's thoughts.

First off Chatt Central is a 4A school just like sequoyah. I find it humerous how the football people get act like they're going against a "big" school when basketball and baseball have to play them every year to advance in the region. Should be a good game for a while. Notre Dame is terrible his year so not much stock to be put in that win. Blue fans also shouldn't forget that mcminn scored at will on central in the 2nd half. From what I can gather, if not for a reverse on a punt return (td) and a goal line interception, polk is 0-2. The team that wins the turnover battle will probably win

Ok CM. We know your boys play your guts out and bring it. MC has a good line that will give a push for Boyd who is a great kid and back. Oh yeah he can fly. RB for Polk may cause problems early but if he has to carry you guys I think will ware. I won't give a prediction but I will say this should be a good game.

Polk Co. by 14 easy! Central beats a very weak Notre Dame team and everyone has them going to the playoffs already. I think Polk shows Central who the Boss of the district is Thursday night.Central is improved this year,But Polk is very physical and well coached.

McMinn Central by 14 easy! Just because Polk beats Chattanooga Central don't mean they can beat McMinn Central.
