bigAsports
Posted by oldschool74:Who are some of the more polished post players in the state? There is a guy in Sumner Co. I cant remember what school hes at but his name is Gary Goode. Hes got really good moves, and very fundamentally sound, with mad hops. SCM20
Ryan Daniels of Goodpasture is 6'11 and has a lot of skill for being that tall. He spent a lot of last season out because of his back, but look for him to be back strong this season.
MaryvilleRebels
My best friend DREW HOUSER of Maryville has a 37 inch vertical leap, before he suffered a strained wrist he was benching 290 he squats 330 and he averages about 15 points per game. He's only 6'4" so he's got a height disadvantage, but he has tenacious defense and great post moves. He has quick feet with a 40 time of 4.73. He's an all round HOSS, he can beat you off the dribble and has a good shot. He will be a force down low and also on the wing!
grizzly55
i wouldn't say ryan daniels is a very polished big man he is tall and is somewhat skilled for his size but he needs to work on his inside moves and get a lot stronger
TNHIGH
Have you ever seen Drew Porter of Tennessee high play? Last year he suffered from a broken foot at the begining of the season, but was back at around christmas. I saw he in the Arby's classic against Daniel Boone. It was his first game starting due to his injury. The 6'10 295 pounder played a heck of a game with 19 points, 12 rebounds and 5 or 6 blocks, and he was just a 10th grader then. I can't wait to see what he'll do this year.due
