IndyEagle09
I'm surprised a thread about this game has not been started. It is a very important game for both teams. For Independence if they win this game they control their own destiny of finishing 2nd in the district and promising themselves a higher playoff seed. While the Rebels must win one of the final two games to have a shot at the playoffs. To be honest they have a better shot against Indy than they will against Brentwood. So who does everyone have? I'll take Indy by 14.

SummaryJudgment
The Eagles are rested and healed after an off week. I say Indy by 28.
BackinTN
I going to honor my new Rebel friends and pick Franklin to win big, by 27. After all, the incredible win/loss record of their new head coach shows he can win big games, right? And they are really laying some serious foundations at FHS, and even the Franklin communty say the talent is down. Add to that the dillusional attitude of the Rebel camp that blissfully ignores the bad decisions that have brought their school this wonderful season and Franklin is unbeatable, right? Who is with me? Or am I 3 seasons too soon in making this prediction? That appears to be the amount of time some guys think a coach should have to prove that he can win at a program that was already a winnning program and in the playoffs every year for the past 8-9 seasons. Give him three years to tear down a winning program so he can build it backto a winning program, he has that experience and built a winning program from a losing one, right? Uh oh, we have a problem, he doesnt have that experience either...dang it...now I'm all confused... Jack Black says "coo coo, coo coo." Now here is the most important predication for the night; The Indy student section dominates the all important Battle of the Bleachers by a final score of 72-3. Thats all that matters on Friday night. Who cares about football! Spectator sports are all about the spectators, not the sports. Why bother playing the game? Just get the two student sections to yell at each other for a couple of hours and then call it a night.

I have not read anywhere that Dyson has said he is leaving after this year? Did I miss something?

M8b - is Dyson in his last season as head coach of the eagles? "reply hazy, try again"..."signs point to yes" Notre Dame will be much happier in a month or two. ftballkicker
Indy runs away with this one early and Franklin will miss the playoffs for the first time since 2000... Problem with this season is DW was up a creek regardless of how he faired. If Franklin would have competed people would have said he did so with talent started by CC... With Franklin not competing well it’s easy for people to say Franklin's admins. made the wrong choice in firing CC. It has definitely been a disappointing season for Franklin but it is unfair to put all the blame on DW. Let's see what he can do with an entire offseason under his belt and see how his team competes next season. Don't know many that get a HC job with only 3 years as an assistant and that was coaching WR and DB- oh and an AD gig as well!!!!!!!!!
