History of these two team's meetings: WC (6-1), PC (1-6)

 

2005- WC 34-7 (at WC)

2006- WC 35-28 (at PC)

2007- WC 47-11 (at WC)

2008- WC 42-6 (at PC)

2009- WC 39-13 (at WC)

2010- PC 50-48 (at PC)

2011- WC 21-6 (at WC)

 

These games have always been very emotional rivalry games between these two, and have had 3 very good games ('06, '10, '11). We have both had a Mr. Football winner, and trips to the 4th round of the playoffs during our meetings. The best being the 2010 game ....although, WC did lose . I think the match up this year will resemble that of the '06 game.

 

So, I'm thinking this will be another good game between to old foes with WC coming out on top.....WC 35-28.

That is correct but Wildcat Alumni will have to tell you how.

Yeah. All of the teams with a 3-6 record would have to lose: Cornersville, Red Boiling Springs, and Sunbright. Chattanooga Grace would also have to lose because they have played 8 teams winning 50% of their games, while we have only played 7. McEwen is already in front of us, having played 8 .500 teams as well, so it doesn't really matter if they win or lose. It's not impossible, but we really need to win.

 

Also, we are 11-1 against Perry County since the '50s. PC has actually had football before. The other scores were:

 

1965: WC 27-0

1966: WC 19-13

1967: WC 31-13

1968: WC 1-0 (PC forfeited their remaining schedule due to lack of players)

1972: WC 38-8

Did a project for college a few years back on WC football since 1950. I know all of the opponents, scores, coaches, etc. since then. I know some of the individual stuff too, although the project was more of a statistical thing.
