It is a good thing for 10A Goodpasture went to the East! But no matter they will DOMINATE single A. They won the AA state in 2012, 2008 & 2007. But don't feel as sorry for baseball as softball - they won 4 of last 7 softball state championships & runner-up 2x. Terrible news for all sports in A.

That having been said, Rhoten is good but he does not hit one out in straight away center @ McEwen! And before you get crazy I have seen him play multiple times. No one goes deep straight away @ McEwen except Josh Hamilton lol. That is a ridiculous deep center! He would go deep everywhere else in 10A though!

Clarksville Academy graduated a big senior class of starters after a disappointing end to the 2012 season. Those seniors (many were 3 year starters) had won the district championship or tournament every year since their freshman season. But their bats left them in the second half of the season, and so goes baseball. White House Heritage and NCS both looked really strong by the time 2012 ended, and deserved to take tournament honors.

CA returns only 2 or 3 starters from the 2012 squad, but the roster is peppered with some players with experience. Additionally, the Cougars have a very strong freshman class with skills and baseball knowledge, and several of those freshmen are expected to compete for starting positions in the lineup. I expect the Cougars to be competitive in 10-A, but they may struggle at the plate with such a young squad, and pitching make lack some depth. This Cougar squad will be a team to watch as the season progresses, and by tournament time, who knows what can happen. With a season under their belts, this team just might make some noise at Wes Smith Field.

1. NCS

2. WHH

3. CA

White House Heritage WILL take the 10A EASILY. Heritage only graduated 2 Seniors last year. This Season they will have 7-8 Starting Seniors. With 2 GREAT Juniors to feel the gaps. Five of these Seniors have been starting since Freshmen year, therefore they have gotten tons of expierence to back up their abilities. The third basemen/pitcher Logan Piercefield is about to sign with a college here soon. The SHUT-OUT pitcher Evan Allison has already had a few college looks and he'll sure sign some where by the end of the season.

To say that Nashville Christian even has a chance against Heritage is a comedy. Look for Heritage to go undefeated this year in the District.

As for Regionals, Eagleville really had nothing on Evan Aliison as a Junior. Look for them to easily breeze past Regions...

State-Bound

I'll say it: Nashville Christian has a chance against White House-Heritage. All it takes is a late season hitting slump. DAMHIK.

You must be ignorant to say that Eagleville had nothing on him. Last time I checked Eagleville won the game and lost in the State Championship. Yes he is good, but Eagleville did hit him, but a lot of the hits were at people, this district will be wide open I think. WHH is good, but if they want a chance to win, they sure better hit a heck of a lot better than they did in that game with Eagleville last year, I don't remember them doing much at all, and they sure didn't execute in key situations.
