The TSSAA board of control just lost all credibility with how they lined up district 11aa.they now have 9 teams with Stewart county traveling almost 3 hours to play Lewis co.It is apparent that back room deals were made with no regard to student athletes .Imagine a tuesday night road game from Lewis to Stewart or vice versa. What a sham!

I remember those long trips from Fairview to Stewart. 9AA seemed like more sense for Fairview.

11-AA is now:

Camden, Hickman, East Hickman, Lewis, Fairview, Creek Wood, Waverly, Stewart, Montgomery Central.........8 district games and 2 non-district games for everyone?????

9-AA is now:

Cheatham, Sycamore, Harpeth, Westmoreland, Greenbrier, White House, and White House-Heritage

12-AA is now:

Page, Spring Hill, Cascade, CPA, Giles, and Marshall..........they have to be thinking "where did everyone go?????"

10-AA is now:

East Literature, Lipscomb, Pearl-Cohn, Stratford, Whites Creek, and Maplewood (CPA is gone to 12-AA)

8-AA is now:

Macon, Smith, Upperman, York, Livingston Academy, Cannon, and DeKalb

In other news:

Loudon gets out of a district with Alcoa, CAK, Knoxville Catholic, Scott, and Kingston and gets into a district with McMinn Central, Polk, Sequoyah, and Sweetwater..........the Redskins Nation is jumping for joy on this day!

Would have liked to see Fairview & Creekwood in 9AA.

As a Camden fan I'm excited to have Fairview and Lewis county in our district. in 4 years we have lost 2 district games in football. I would rather be more tested going into the playoffs than that to be honest.

To the Stewart county fan complaining...I am sure Lewis County is not looking forward to driving all the way to Dover to lay a beat down on your sorry football/basketball/baseball/softball teams either so how would they gain by putting the fix in? Request a move to 9aa..really maybe they will think your football players flipping the visiting fans the bird for 3 quarters is cute.

Great article by Mo Patton on Tennessean.com, where our AD was pushing to get back to those old rivalries. We got to spend 6 minutes in 9AA. lol

Yeah I was really really happy for a total of 6 mins. But there is some good competition with White House, Greenbrier, Westmoreland and Sycamore. Just wish we could have had a POWER-HOUSE District. Gotta love those nail-biter games.

Rise up CUBNATION!!! GO CUBS!!!
